I stayed up late and got up early so you all would know we made it safely to our new "home away from home" in Arlington, Virginia!!
Dave left in our car on Saturday, and me, mom, and Lawson flew out Sunday. Lawson did great on the plane, although I know it's mostly just luck because many babies on our plane didn't do so great! Things started out nicely when he fell asleep on the way to the airport. We got there so early he was able to sleep almost an hour before we had to go through the security line. Surprisingly, we got through security relatively painlessly. We were holding up the line, so they did move us to the side at one point so we could get organized!
Anyway, I'll let the pictures tell the story...

Spirits low...we're lost!! We were "welcomed to DC" 4 times!! Pop had to get us home!
2.5 hours later, we finally make it to the apartments!

So glad y'all made it safely(an answer to prayer), although a bit frazzled with the drive from the airport to the apartment--bless your heart! I love the pic of Lawson "successfully" finding his toes! Too Cute! Have a great first week in your home away from home!
