What We've Been Up To...

I've not been doing good lately keeping the blog updated, so here's a mass update from the past two weeks!

Lawson got his first report card!

Considering we got a note home within the first month of school
starting, we were happy to see he got a good conduct grade!

We got a new kitchen table to better fit into

our little kitchen.  It's a high-top table, and we really like it!

Yep, Lawson got the flu!  He had a flu shot this year,

so fortunately it was a pretty mild version.

Lord, please let us stay well in February!

Dave and Law worked on marble runs
while Lawson was getting better.

Dave and Mel worked on a project at the lake

notice the nat'l champs hat...they can't get enough..

Lawson had his first school program!

Since the circus is in town this week, the circus ALSO

came to The Adventure Nook!

Many thanks to Jana Cook Sprouse for letting us borrow

the elephant costume!!

Dave said this how Auburn Tiger fans perform when

forced to dress up like an elephant!

 We went to the circus!

Lawson loved it, but he said his favorite was the cotton candy!

He assured us he did NOT have to go to the bathroom

during the show, but 2 minutes after we got outside he HAD to go!

We're going to the zoo today to enjoy the glorious sunshine!

Thank you Lord!

p.s. We had fresh baked Chocolate Chip Cookies and Bacon for breakfast this morning..it's bound to be a good day!
