The Bishop's Garden

We had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. The weather was just perfect. On Saturday, we decided to visit the Washington National Cathedral. You can see the front of the cathedral in the first picture. It was beautiful, but I guess we're a little jaded after seeing all those amazing, bring tears to your eyes, centuries old cathedrals in Europe. We only stayed a few minutes, and were headed back to the car when we found a wonderful little garden out beside the church called the Bishop's Garden. It was so quaint and peaceful. It was like a little Central Park, only better! A few people were having picnics and you'll see that Lawson visited most of them!
