It's a really hard song for a four year old!
And here's the rest of the story...
For the past couple of years, we've sang "The Twelve Days of Christmas" at our Lawson family Christmas Eve gathering. This year it came together a little quickly with Mom suddenly passing out the verses to each person. Lawson was handed "And a partridge in a pear tree" quickly, and of course, he couldn't read it and didn't seem to understand what was happening, and being the perfectionist he is (which we're trying to work on), he got frustrated and pretty much refused to participate which is unusual for him because he likes to sing. Anyway, I caught him practicing for next year, I suppose, with his Twelve Days of Christmas book a few days later!

It has to be something about their age, Olivia is the perfectionist too recently. If it isnt exactly the way she thinks it should be she gets upset.
