The "secret" room is the attic space between the upstairs rooms and the roof. Upstairs we have four rooms. There's our room on one end of the hallway and then the bonus room, Lawson's bathroom, and Lawson's room. The attic area Mel wants to fix up connects the bonus room and Lawson's room. Anyway, they got started today, and Lawson is standing in front of the little door they made in the bonus room. Dave said he is calling it "the cave!" Tonight Dave told him he needed to get in the bath, and Lawson said, "No, I havf to wuurk!"

Oh, Lawson will love his little hideout! What a perfect way to give him some play space!
The kids saw this picture this morning. Emma and Abby were drilling John Brady about the little door. It was "John Brady, what's that door for, John Brady, did you see that door when you were at Lawson's, John Brady what's in the THAT door, John Brady, John Brady, did you go in that door?" All the while I am saying, "READ, READ, READ and you will find out". So funny!!
Looks and sounds like a very cool "cave."
